Certification in Control Self-Assessment (In-house)
Through this intensive five-day course participants will learn how to introduce and monitor an effective control self-assessment (CSA) methodology. Developed by Leoron, this methodology has proven successful in several commercial, governmental, educational and banking environments. It is accessibleto management and employees alike - and requires no expensive software.
The Control Risk Self Assessment technique is used to evaluate business process effectiveness utilising natural work groups. It focuses groups on the steps necessary to meet business objectives and helps determine measurement criteria. The formal, documented process sees the management and/or work teams directly involved in a business process assess the effectiveness of the processes in place and determine whethersome or all of the business objectives will be met.
This course provides the auditor with the knowledge and skills required to successfully complete the IIA CRSA certification.

On completion of this course participants will be awarded a Certification in Control Self-Assessment and will be equipped to take the IIA CSA examination. The programme is also worth35 NASBA CPE credits.
