Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
The PME CAPM® Exam Boot Camp course provides the knowledge the student needs to evolve their career as a successful Certified Associate in Project Management and get ready for the PM! CAPM® Exam. This course fulfills the required 23-hour PM! contact hour requirement.
Discussion topics include: The Ten Knowledge Areas of Project Management: Integration , Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk, Procurement and Stakeholder. The Five Process Groups of Project Management: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closing. Two additiona l topics: Professiona l and Social Responsibility and Framework .

- Provide all pertinent know ledge from the latest version of the PMBOK® Guide. Explain the five stages of a project life cycle and illustrate how these stages can overlap in time.
- Demonstrate how to create a project management plan with subsidiary plans for each of the knowledge areas and explain how progressive elaboration and integrated change management can keep these documents effect ive and
- relevant.
- Illustrate how a project's various baselines (including scope, cost, schedule, quality, risk, procurement , and others) are determined , planned for, and managed.
- Recognize how to effectively manage resources and communicate with all stakeholders.
- Explain the key method s used to estimate project schedule and cost at the beginning of a project and to forecast cost and schedule variances at any time during the project.
- Identify key project stakeholders and continuous ly engage them in appropriate project activities.
- Provide over practice test questions to be completed throughout the bootcamp.
