Innovative Thinking Trainer Certification
Train others to think innovatively to boost their career and success. Being a VCI-Certified Innovative Thinking Trainer, powered by Innovation Styles®, is an exciting and rewarding move for your career.
Training people to recognize the different ways we like to think innovatively is a key to strengthening their innovative teamwork. We all have our own unique approach to meeting an innovative challenge, using our own mixture of 4 Innovation Styles®: Visioning, Modifying, Exploring, and Experimenting. To lead and cultivate a healthy environment for business innovation, each style must be recognized, valued, and put to its best use… while practicing versatility among all 4 styles.
In your certification training, you’ll learn to conduct a 1-day workshop that's been used successfully around the world. The workshop design is organized into 8 sessions, each with its own objectives, videos, and exercises to choose from.
Once you’ve completed your online study and practice, we’ll coach you before and after your first “live” training sessions, to make sure you’ll be confident and successful from the very start. And, we’re always here to support you when you need us.
To become a Certified Trainer using Innovation Styles®, you’ll need to complete a VCI Innovative Thinking course, and you or your organization will need a VCI license agreement. Contact us for more details.

As a VCI-Certified Innovative Thinking Trainer, you’ll conduct workshops and training sessions where you will guide your participants to:
- Gain a common understanding about what it means to be innovative
- Experience different ways of innovative thinking
- Enhance their knowledge of the Innovation Styles® model and have fun
- Gain self-awareness and appreciate others’ style preferences
- Set the stage for idea-generation with the 4 styles
- Be confident using style-specific idea-generation techniques
- Master 4 Innovation Styles® questions to generate comprehensive solutions
- Celebrate everyone’s learning
Course delivery details
