Management Excellence Series
The Manager Excellence Series is a custom designed six-month long development program for newly promoted managers. By participating in this offering, new managers will gain foundation skills to increase their effectiveness and help prepare them in the core skills needed as new managers. It is a customizable program that allows the organization to include the topics most relevant to their goals and culture. Topics often included are Performance Excellence – Management 101, communication, conflict resolution/management, influencing others and delegation.
The Manager Excellence Series utilizes an experienced facilitator to provide insight and feedback in relation to managing and leading others. This custom designed program will utilize the following delivery methods:
- Pre workshop Assessment – Leadership Practices Inventory 360 Assessment (LPI 360)
- Kick Off Meeting
- Learning Forum – bi-monthly, half-day sessions
- Fieldwork – assignments that link directly to the jobs of the participants
- One-on-one Tele-coaching sessions
- End of program evaluation – Assessing Individual Performance

Training content
To enhance the effectiveness of newly promoted managers in a sustainable and measurable way, this program will:
- Support participants by facilitating skill development in key manager competencies
- Monitor the participants’ development to ensure ongoing alignment with the organization’s business objectives
- Ensure application of concepts and tools learned
- Provide skill development through classroom training combined with fieldwork assignments and tele-coaching session
