Pandemic Preparedness
Train all workers with reasonably anticipated occupational exposure to SARS-CoV-2 about the sources of exposure to the virus, the hazards associated with that exposure, and appropriate workplace protocols in place to prevent or reduce the likelihood of exposure. Training should include information about how to isolate individuals with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 or other infectious diseases, and how to report possible cases.

OSHA is advising employers to train all workers with reasonably anticipated occupational exposure to SARS-CoV-2. Some establishment have a higher exposure risk than others, but an argument can be made that all employees should be trained in order to ensure that:
- Proper safety and health information is being received
- Employees understand their training
- Training documentation is completed
Training content
Lancaster Safety has developed an essential Pandemic Preparedness Training Video with information that will help keep your employees safe on the job. The training video can be accessed on any device with an internet connection through a private link. We decided to provide this online, in a no-contact format, in order to align with safety and health measures. We are able to offer this training onsite but will follow the CDC and OSHA’s guidelines.
